Use this modified Project-Based Learning (PBL) Collaboration Rubric to assess your own effectiveness with group communication and collaboration throughout the planning process in both the group wiki and the collaborative Prezi. 

Complete this rubric for your own self-assessment and then complete a separate rubric for each member of your group.  Highlight the bulleted points that apply for yourself and for your peers.

Use this information to write a reflection on the collaboration process for both the wiki and the Prezi. What were your strengths and weaknesses in this collaborative group process?

Write a narrative paragraph in class now and be sure to provide details about your own participation in collaborative activities on both the group wiki and the collaborative Prezi. 

Explain the role you played in your group.  Describe your personal contribution to both the group wiki and the collaborative Prezi.

Discussion Board Activity

Alex and Zach: take the Common Core Technology Assessment Survey to determine your current level of proficiency with technology foundations, digital citizenship, learning and innovation skills (4Cs), and personal group and professional development. 

Becky and Octavio: consult the attached pdf on 21st Century information literacy, media literacy and ICT literacy (Information, Communications, and Technology). 
Review the Technology skills flowchart and discuss how you will prepare your students to use media and technology effectively.

Emily: locate your subject area 21st Century Skills Literacy Map in the week 8 learning activities folder.  Download the 21st Century Information Media and Technology Skills Assessment Rubric and evaluate your information media and technology skills.  Discuss specific expectations for digital literacy and technology skills required for 21st Century teaching and learning.

Anna and Tobias: download the ISTE NETS Profiles for Technology Literate (ICT) Students and discuss how you will incorporate technology into your teaching to meet the Common Core State Standards, the 21st Century Skills for Information Media and Technology, and the ISTE NETS for Teachers and Students.

Whole Class Choose One Case Study to Examine:

What is due Due Tonight Thursday 6/23/16 by midnight? If you were present tonight in class, you do not need to do the assignments that are in the red font.  Items 1, 5 and 6 should be completed for your own satisfaction.

1.    Readings:  U.S. Department of Education “A Blueprint for Reform,” P21 Information, Media, and ICT Literacy, Global Citizenship, P21 Resources and Exemplars
2.    Group Assignment: Multidisciplinary Integrated Learning Unit Plan Group Prezi Presentation should be completed and presented tonight in class.
3.    Assignment: Collaboration Self-Assessment and Peer Evaluation should be completed tonight in class. You do not have to submit anything in the BB drop box.
4.    Discussion: 21st Century and Common Core Digital Literacy Self- Assessment and Exemplar Case Study Review should have been completed tonight in class.  You do not have to submit anything on BB.
